Christina started drawing at the age of nine. Growing up on the lower east side of New York City with 4 siblings and two, first generation Italian parents.
Her privacy and sanity was to spend hours drawing Tarzan and Jane comic strips.
She studied art with dozens of great teachers over the years and worked as an arts educator at the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum. The Museum is now an client.
In addition, to being an artist and illustrator, she is a professional dancer. She often compares dance with art. She believes that with a strong technical foundation and self discipline one develops the means to express and create freely in both disciplines.
Christina hopes her work comes across with a bit of an ironic smile and claims not to take herself too seriously.
